Key Club Elections- 3/21

On Thursday, March 21st, we will have our final meeting of the service year. The meeting is the general elections. So come out and elect the new officers for the new service year! The meeting is in Mr. Trinkner’s Room (Rm.94). Anyone interested in becoming an officer, please pick up an application from Mr. Trinkner’s room or print one from the downloads tab. Applications are due before the meeting. Positions available are: President, Vice President (2), Treasury, Secretary, Editor (2), and Webmaster. Please prepare a two minute speech on why you think you deserve the position you are running for, and talk about your ideas about the future of Key Club. Hope to see you there!

On Friday, March 15th, we will be holding a Voorhees Pediatric Facility visit to interact with the disabled children across the street. The visit lasts about an hour directly after school. Meet in Mr. Trinkner’s room (Rm 94) immediately after school on the 15th to walk down to the facility. Sign ups will be posted at the general meeting on March 11th.

On Friday February 15th, we will be holding a Voorhees Pediatric Facility visit to interact with the disabled children across the street. The visit lasts about an hour directly after school. Meet in Mr. Trinkner’s room (Rm 94) immediately after school on the 11th to walk down to the facility. Sign ups will be posted at the general meetings on February 11th and 12th. Only 5 volunteers will be allowed to sign up at each meeting. So sign up soon.

As the service year winds down, District Convention (DCON) approaches! For those of you registered to attend NJ Distict Convention 2013 at the Ocean Place Resort Spa, Long Branch, NJ, remember to turn in your forms by Wednesday, February 20th to Mr. Trinkner (Rm. 94). Anyone who needs forms please collect the packet from Mr. Trinkner. Please keep in mind that the forms must be notarized so do it soon. Thanks everyone, and hope to see you there!

THE ELIMINATE GAMES- 1/5

At 1pm on January 5th, 2013 , Eastern High School will be hosting New Jersey Key Club Division 3B’s annual district event, THE ELIMINATE GAMES! Contestants take part in games, similar to the “Minute-to-Win-It” Game Show. All proceeds benefit the Eliminate Project. If you would like to compete, please fill out the parent’s consent and the competitors forms available in the downloads tab and bring $10 to the competition. It costs $5 to watch. Food and drinks will be sold and there will be music.

On Friday December 14th, we will be holding a Voorhees Pediatric Facility visit to play with the disabled children across the street. The visit lasts about an hour directly after school. Meet in Mr. Trinkner’s room (Rm 94) immediately after school on the 14th to walk down to the facility. Sign ups will be posted at the general meetings on December 11th and 12th. Only 10 volunteers will be allowed to go so sign up soon.

Member Orientation- 12/13

Attention Key Club Members, Key Club will be holding it’s member orientation on December 13th in the recital hall. Members will learn about the running of Key Club, Kiwanis, and information about Key Club. Members will receive their membership certificates, pins, and card. If you cannot attend, the items can be picked up in Mr. Trinkner’s room (Rm. 94).

On Friday November 30th, we will be holding a Voorhees Pediatric Facility visit to play with the disabled children across the street. The visit lasts about an hour directly after school. Meet in Mr. Trinkner’s room (Rm 94) immediately after school on the 26th to walk down to the facility. Only 10 volunteers will be allowed to go.
