Officer Elections – March 12th!

2012-13 Officer Elections

Hello All Key-Clubbers!!

We are nearing the end of our service year, and the time has come for our officer elections! This year, most of our officers are seniors, so that means for the upcoming service year, there will be many officer positions to be filled by active Key-Clubbers! The officer election will be held after school March 12th, where the candidates will each give a brief speech and then the general body will vote! If you are interested in becoming an officer, you can download an officer application form from the Downloads tab on this website.  Please fill it out and submit it to Mr. Trinkner BEFORE the election.  Officer positions will be based 50% on the general body vote and 50% on the opinions of Mr. Trinkner on the written applications.  There will be lots of seats to fill the upcoming service year, so please consider trying out for a officer position, because as we can attest, they are very rewarding positions!

We look forward to seeing many candidates and members at the upcoming election!

The Eliminate Project

Dear Key-Clubbers,

One of our biggest events of the year, Holiday Hoops, will be on December 19th (originally Dec 9th)  in Gym 1 at 6:30 PM.  It’s a 3v3 basketball tournament, with 3 person teams paying $30 ($10 per person) to enter and spectators enter for free!

Encourage your friends, guys and girls, to enter by picking up a registration form at Mr. Trinkner’s room in Rm 94; please return it to him before the tournament.  Snacks and drinks will be available as well for purchase. Bring your friends and family to watch the action; see some of your favorite teachers in action as referees too!

This is our biggest event of the year, so make sure to come out and support Key Club and the ELIMINATE Project! (also, volunteering and bringing in the drinks and food you signed up will earn you hours)

Hey Key-Clubbers,

At the recent general meetings, we distributed Trick or Treat for UNICEF boxes for Halloween.  For every $10 you collect, its 1 hour of service, so get a box if you haven’t and start collecting! We also gave out candygrams that you can sell to your friends for $1, and the working meeting to make the candy bags will be on Oct 24th.  Also, if you have a facebook, join the Eastern Key Club group where we also post updates among other things. Also, text @easternkci to (484)577-2341 if you want to receive notifications from Key Club by text.

General Meetings – May

Fellow Key Clubbers,
Even though the service year has officially ended, we will be continuing our service activities through the end of the school year. We will have four general meetings in the remainder of the year. They are on Tuesday May 7th, Thursday May 9th, Tuesday May 28th and Thursday May 30th. You don’t have to come to both the 7th and 9th meetings, just attend one of the two; the same goes for the 28th and 30th meetings. We can’t wait to see you Key-Clubbers there!
