2013-2014 Service Year Election

Congratulations to the new officer-elects for the 2013-14 service year, commencing after DCON 2013! Thank you to those who attended elections and participated in the democratic process, as well as the great candidates who ran. Based on a combination of votes and applications, the new officers for the next service year are:

On behalf of the current officers, we extend a warm welcome to the future officers of Eastern Key Club. It has been a joy to serve Key Club in the 2012-13 service year, and we are glad to be able to pass this legacy on. From the fundraising projects like Holiday Hoops to the bi-monthly Voorhees Pediatric Facility visits, it has been an amazing and enriching experience serving as officers for the 2012-13 service year. Congratulations, officer-elects, and welcome to the world of Key Club!

DCON Update

For any Key Club Members attending District Convention(DCON), please attend one of the two overnight trip meetings in Room 609. The meetings are Thursday, March 21st at 6pm and Monday, March 25th at 7:30pm. You must attend with a parent.

Key Club Elections- 3/21

On Thursday, March 21st, we will have our final meeting of the service year. The meeting is the general elections. So come out and elect the new officers for the new service year! The meeting is in Mr. Trinkner’s Room (Rm.94). Anyone interested in becoming an officer, please pick up an application from Mr. Trinkner’s room or print one from the downloads tab. Applications are due before the meeting. Positions available are: President, Vice President (2), Treasury, Secretary, Editor (2), and Webmaster. Please prepare a two minute speech on why you think you deserve the position you are running for, and talk about your ideas about the future of Key Club. Hope to see you there!

On Friday, March 15th, we will be holding a Voorhees Pediatric Facility visit to interact with the disabled children across the street. The visit lasts about an hour directly after school. Meet in Mr. Trinkner’s room (Rm 94) immediately after school on the 15th to walk down to the facility. Sign ups will be posted at the general meeting on March 11th.
