To help benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Key Club will be collecting money to support patients with blood cancer. Like the annual UNICEF boxes, the L&L boxes will raise money that will be donated to help support research to create better treatments and therapies to save lives. If interested in helping contribute to this, please make sure to stop by in Mr. Trinkner’s room (101) and grab a box! Thanks!

Operation Smile Clothing Drive

Help support the Operation Smile Plato’s Closet Initiative by donating gently used or new clothes! Operation Smile is an organization that helps pay for dental surgeries for children in third world countries. These include but are not limited to the cleft lip and cleft palate. From January 20 to February 2, we will be collecting clothing so that they can be sold. The money we earn will be donated to the Operation Smile organization. Donations should be brought to Mr. Trinkner’s room in a trash bag with your name labeled on it.

Thank you Key Clubbers for all of your donations! We raised a grand total of $625 for the Eliminate Project. This money goes towards our project to protect women and babies from Tetanus. Thank you and don’t forget to join us again in next year’s donation!

Teacher Appreciation Week

Don’t forget to thank your teachers! Teacher Appreciation Week is on May 4-8. For every letter you write to a teacher, you will receive 5 service points. See Trinker in room 101 to pick a teacher. Also, donations will be accepted (cookies, baked goods, coffee, breakfast, etc.) on the morning of May 6 and/or May 8.
